About the role

TOOTHSAVERS' is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental practice located in Mount Annan, NSW. In this casual role, you will play a vital part in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. With a focus on delivering high-quality dental services, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the dental practice and assisting the dentist throughout all procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing the dental surgery and equipment for patients
• Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
• Assisting the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and ensuring the work area is clear and organised
• Providing excellent customer service and support to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease
• Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing payments
• Maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Adhering to all health and safety protocols and infection control standards

What we're looking for

• A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a similar dental practice environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A passion for the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality care
