About Us
Established in 2021, Peninsula Child Psychology is a growing private practice on the Mornington Peninsula providing counselling, intervention, and assessment services to children, adolescents, and their families. We commonly support clients who present with a range of needs, including neurodiversity, general social/emotional/ behaviour support, school and family systems support, as well as a range of comprehensive assessments. We also have strong networks with other local allied health providers. We are a growing neuro-affirming private practice who focus on client centred practice, and are looking for one individual to support the growing need and demand for our service.

About the Role
A great opportunity for a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist to join our highly professional and friendly team. If you are a registered Psychologist, who wants to work as part of a team, then this could be the opportunity for you. Your daily duties would include but not be limited to conducting a range of sessions with children, adolescents, and families covering:
Behaviour Management
Social Skill Building
Relationship Development
Emotional regulation difficulties
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Learning difficulties/ Specific Learning Disorder (SLD)
Self-Esteem
Sleep Difficulties
Parent and family support
School holiday group programs
About You
Along with your strong work ethic and your previous experience ideally, you’ll have/be:
A Masters or Doctoral degree or 5 plus 1
AHPRA registration (endorsement desired)
Eligible for Medicare service provision
Professional and Public Indemnity Insurance
Working with Children’s Check and current Police Check
Well-developed clinical and counselling skills
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Ongoing commitment to personal development
Confident working independently with a wide range of presenting issues
