Everyday Psychology is a thoughtfully curated private practice in Carlton North founded and operated by young professionals. We are a small team of psychologists and have just four consulting rooms, so the clinic is quiet and calm. We are really proud of the space that we have created and want to share it with other like minded psychologists. Though we work independently, we offer a sense of community and support at the practice. We have a monthly peer supervision to help with this.

We are currently looking for a registered psychologist/clinical psychologist or clinical psychology registrar to join the practice. We are looking for a competent, organised, and reliable individual who is driven to succeed in a private practice setting.

Based on our past experiences working in other practices, we have gone with a minimalist approach. This helps to keep costs low, so that you can take home more of the money you earn. Because of this, there is no administrative support offered with this role. However, we will provide you with access to everything you need to succeed in private practice. This includes access to client software (Halaxy) as well as training from us on how to use this. Halaxy also includes a platform for Telehealth Services, which you can use at no additional cost. The software is incredibly streamlined and you will have access to our templates to further help with the administrative tasks required for the role (e.g. GP letters templates, case notes etc.). We provide ongoing support and guidance as needed throughout your time with Everyday Psychology as well.

- Room rental and services arrangement where your take home pay is $126 - $196 per hour depending on your registration and if working after-hours

- Discounted supervision is available with both Alina and Parris, who are both Clinical Psychologists and Board Approved Supervisors. This is available to general psychologists, clinical psychologists and to those completing the clinical registrar program.

Essential Criteria:

- General registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). People who do not hold registration should not apply.

- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) if planning to work with clients under the age of 18

- Current professional indemnity insurance or willingness to obtain

- Experience in evidence-based psychological interventions

- Experience working within a previous private practice setting is desirable

- Experience or interest in working with Eating Disorders is highly desirable

- Interest in working on Saturdays or Sundays is highly desirable (including a short 2-3 hour shift)
