The Role

We are seeking a hardworking, self-motivated individual with dispatch experience to take on this role.

The role is Monday to Friday with an opportunity for overtime.

You will be a vital part of the dispatch team in a very busy environment. Ensuring orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time. Booking transport and coordinating our truck for daily delivery runs into Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

The role is key to ensure our customers receive their orders on time and perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with external shipping partners to ensure timely and cost effective of delivery products
• Maintain accurate shipping records of orders being sent out including the transport mode taken and tracking numbers.
• Ensure all orders are packed correctly and meet a high standard of finish before being sent to the customer.
• Coordinating, Scheduling and booking daily transport activities in a timely manner.
• Compiling paperwork daily for invoicing
• Assist customers with picking up of orders
• Resolve any arising problems with customers and sales staff.
• Ensuring POD's are received, checked and filed.
• Loading of incoming and outgoing trucks for local and interstate delivery.
• Answering customer calls for orders and delivery enquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organised dispatch area, adhering to safety and compliance standards.

We provide full training and support for the successful applicant. There are opportunities to learn further skills and advance your career. We operate the RDO system so this is a full day off per month instead of an early finish on a Friday. This is a physically demanding, but very rewarding job creating products within an experienced committed team.
