Client
My client is a growing CA firm in the CBD who are seeking a Business Services & Advisory Manager to join their team. With 30 years since it's establishment, this accounting firm are specialists in the Business Services, Tax and Wealth Management field and have built a reputation for excellence in innovation. Their expertise in providing tailored financial solutions to clients is second to none.
Role
Reporting to the Partner, you will be managing and working directly with a portfolio of various SMEs, HWNIs, investments and family groups ranging up to $50M turnover and managing circa $800k in fees. You'll also be leading and mentoring a team of 3.
Taking ownership of clients and developing existing and new relationships
The preparation and review of income tax returns and financial reports
Provision of taxation based structuring advice
Evaluation of Div7A, implications of company accounts and preparation of loan repayments
Preparation of tax projections and year-end tax planning for clients
Developing corporate structures and identifying corporate restructuring opportunities and implementation strategies
Workflow management of team
Preparation of billing and managing budgets
Coaching, mentoring and supervision of junior staff members.
Developing and building strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for business development
Skills and experience required (ideally):
Experience working in an Assistant Manager or Manager capacity in public practice
CA or CPA qualified
Ability to manage daily workflow and meet deadlines
Be technically proficient and up to date with accounting and tax developments.
Able to competently review client work and be able to identify issues and opportunities to value add
Have previous exposure to and have developed good working relationships with clients and staff
Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax laws and regulations ensure compliance and provide strategic guidance to clients.
