If so, I am currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for an Retail Manager to be based at one of Australia' premium and sought after locations.

About the Role:

As the Retail Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all retailers within the centre, ensuring they receive the support they need to drive success. This role will see you working closely with the broader Centre Management team to enhance retailer relationships, drive non-lease mall revenue, and create an exceptional experience for both retailers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main liaison for all retailers, addressing queries and concerns
• Oversee mall revenue streams including storage, signage, pop-ups, and vacant shop income
• Maximise tenant occupancy and rental cash flow through effective coordination
• Collaborate with the Leasing Manager to ensure optimal tenant outcomes
• Proactively manage retailers at risk and assist with lease obligations
• Work with retailers to enhance productivity, training, and customer experience
• Assist in preparing the Annual Business Plan and financial reporting
• Oversee shopfront presentation, signage approvals, and hoarding graphics
• Prepare and manage the mall space budget and strategy

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a shopping centre environment
• Previous experience as a Retail Manager or Centre Manager in a smaller centre
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Background in retail management, leasing, marketing, or centre management
• Ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams
• Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
