What we are looking for:

Project Planning:

Collaborate with project manager to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget.

Develop a detailed construction schedule and plan, taking into account all aspects of the project.

Site Organization:

Set up and organize the construction site, including the installation of necessary facilities and infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement proper safety measures on the site.

Team Management:

Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and labourers.

Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure that work is carried out efficiently and according to quality standards.

Resource Management:

Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.

Monitor and manage the inventory of materials and equipment needed for construction activities.

Quality Control:

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that work meets specified standards and regulations.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders, including directors, project managers, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.

Provide regular project updates to relevant parties and address any concerns or issues that arise during construction.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve challenges or obstacles that may arise during the construction process.

Make decisions to keep the project on track and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Adherence to Regulations:

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant construction standards.

Work with regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and inspections.

Experience and Skills:

Builder license and building practitioner license in NSW

Minimum 7 years experience in Class 1, Class 2 and Class 7 b building construction

Familiar with Procore management system

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
