About the role

As a Site Manager at Hunter Project Solutions, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects across the Hunter Region. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, managing employees and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Provide guidance and support to the site team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Participate in the planning and budgeting of projects

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our construction processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar construction management role, preferably in the Construction industry

Strong understanding of construction methods, project management techniques, and relevant Management principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantagous but not essential
