Sharp and Carter are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join a global industry-leading organisation based in St Leonard's. This role will play a key part in payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. With exciting projects ahead, we are looking for someone enthusiastic with strong attention to detail, a structured and disciplined approach, and a drive to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for 1,000 employees across ANZ.
• Administer monthly and off-cycle payroll runs.
• Handle payroll checks, bonus and commission calculations, and payroll-related queries.
• Support the finance team with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Key Requirements

• 1–2 years' experience in payroll, HR administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with structured processes.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive mindset with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Preceda (or similar payroll systems) is advantageous.
