About You:
You are working or have worked in a financial planning practice and looking for a more professional, close to home thriving financial planning practice. You love a team environment, enjoy working with people, and excel at multitasking while delivering outstanding client service and interaction.
You Will Need:
Previous experience in a similar role
Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic as a team player
A warm and professional phone manner
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Solid administrative abilities
Superior written and verbal communication skills
A professional, courteous demeanour
Proven accuracy and attention to detail
Exceptional organisational skills
Willingness to complete a police check
Preferred Experience:
Recent experience in a similar role within the financial planning industry
Knowledge of financial planning compliance obligations
Proficiency in financial planning software (Plutosoft, Xplan, Adviser Logic) and Microsoft Office
About the Job:
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general financial planning administration, including:
Handling inbound and outbound phone calls
Scheduling client appointments
Scanning and filing documents
Supporting the client review process
Serve as a key point of contact, ensuring a seamless connection between clients and advisers
Prepare for new client appointments and plan presentations
Assist in drafting advice documents
Lodge and track applications, renewals, and reviews
Proactively follow up on applications and required documentation
Liaise with investment houses, insurers, and superannuation providers
Maintain accurate electronic filing and client database records
Adhere to strict compliance policies and procedures
Contribute to process improvements and business efficiencies
This role supports our growing business by assisting our administration team and freeing up time for other staff. Our tight-knit team of seven includes three financial advisers, one associate financial planner/paraplanner, and two client services officers. You’ll thrive in our small office environment, where flexibility and a willingness to pitch in across a diverse range of tasks are essential. Upholding complete confidentiality of client matters is a non-negotiable priority.
