Based at Penrith, NSW, the Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for OHS&E of employees, contractors and visitors and demonstrating appropriate Safety behaviours and achieving Operational KPI’s and budget targets as set.

Responsibilities:

• The position will see you maintaining and repairing our equipment and machinery, both within the workshop and production areas.
• You will learn to maintain and repair our IS forming machine (Glass Forming Machine) and forming equipment.
• You will undertake preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, overseeing stock, and ultimately adhering to our maintenance plans. Our maintenance management system will need to be managed and updated as records change.
• Working hours 6AM to 2.30PM with an RDO every second Friday

From time to time there may be a requirement for additional afterhours work to address breakdowns and issues which may impact production.

What You Will Bring:

• We are looking for a Certificate III qualified Mechanical Fitter with a machining discipline.
• Experience with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding & Machining.
• You will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day.
