About Your Role
The Community Team Manager is responsible for management and leadership of the multidisciplinary Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Service, including CAMHS, Youth, Adult, Older Persons, Peer, Aboriginal and Drug and Alcohol as distinct specialties, ensuring that each is well supported to achieve relevant service outcomes.
The position provides high level strategic alignment to the MHDA district plans and direction, communication of these with the team and leads change processes.
The Team Manager will work closely with the Team Clinical Leaders, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol, to ensure a focus on evidenced based, person centred care and family sensitive practice, which is provided within a recovery oriented framework with links to other support services.
Community MHDA services include: crisis services, promotion, prevention & early intervention, chronic & complex care, consumer, carer and family peer supports, drug and alcohol counselling and opioid treatment services.
