. $190 - 200,000 package + bonus + 4 day week on site.

Because you’ve worked in mining you just get how all the parts of a mining operation fit together. This is critical knowledge as your role revolves around ensuring managers have the right information at hand to underpin their business decision making and to know the right levers to pull.

The candidate we’re looking to attract will:

. Have a strong technology/mining systems and reporting base

. Will have worked in mining and understand drivers, costs, challenges

. Have the ability to engage at ALL levels across the site and at Head Office

. Be known for building positive, engaging relationships from pit crews up.

. Be proactive and understand what data is most useful and in what form

. Have experience working with a range of mining specific systems

. Be adept at building reports that reflect and predict reality

. Have managed a Mine Control System and dashboards

. Have developed a reputation as a trusted advisor

. Ideally have some experience in coal

I do want to be up front and stress that we’re not looking for:

. A pure technologist or technology “geek”

. Candidates from outside mining or support services to mining

. Candidates who have job hopped and not put down roots

. Overseas based candidates who require sponsorship

. Candidates without the correct visas to live & work here

. Candidates who can’t handle change and CI

We would love you to have some coal industry exposure in NSW or Queensland. You can be FIFO,DIDO, or “live local” and there is a preference that you locate yourself in Queensland.
