About the Role

The APS 5 Co-Design and Engagement Officer will enhance community connections, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and help deliver meaningful engagement initiatives.

What You Will Do

Represent the client at forums and events, delivering clear, effective information to a variety of audiences.

Proactively plan, organise, and evaluate face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid events.

Support internal communications by drafting reports, engagement plans, and meeting notes.

Manage a shared inbox, triage enquiries, and ensure timely, thoughtful responses.

Track, monitor, and report on meetings, events, and key engagement activities.

• Work closely with external services to enhance experiences for diverse Australians and improve social and economic inclusion.

What You Will Bring

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A calm, cheerful attitude with strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Experience supporting event coordination and managing accessibility requirements.

The ability to create clear, accessible documentation, reports, and summaries.

Experience in government or procurement.

Budget management expertise.
