We are seeking an experienced contract specialist for an initial 12-month Fixed term contract. You will provide expertise and strategic guidance with the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that all activities align with objectives to optimise costs, quality and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the sourcing-to-contract process, including RFx drafting, evaluation, negotiations, and contract formation.
• Draft and finalise contractual documentation.
• Drive the development and implementation of savings plans, achieving measurable cost reductions and operational improvements through the contracting process.
• Advise end users and stakeholders on contract-related matters.
• Manage post-award contract services for end users, ensuring successful completion or closeout of contracts.
• Travel to site on an ad hoc basis, as needed.

What You'll Need:

• Experience managing contracts and negotiations with suppliers.
• Strong background in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for goods and services, ideally within the mining industry.
• Effective stakeholder management and collaborative team skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with a strong attention to detail.
