Our client is a leading global retailer. They are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist (Indirect Categories) for a short term assignment.

The Role

This interim position offers a hands-on opportunity to take charge of ongoing tenders and procurement projects, with RFPs already in flight. You’ll ensure continuity in procurement processes, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee contract negotiations—all while preparing for a smooth handover to the incoming specialist.

Duties include:

• Oversee live tenders and procurement projects, ensuring seamless execution.
• Manage supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Provide stability and expert guidance during the transition phase.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in indirect procurement across Facilities, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
• Strong ability to quickly adapt and take ownership of ongoing projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
