The Role
As a Licensed Customs Broker, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient customs clearance while ensuring full compliance with Australian Border Force (ABF) and DAFF regulations. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex trade laws while providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classify and clear goods accurately while ensuring full compliance
• Prepare and submit customs declarations in line with Australian regulations
• Provide expert guidance on tariff classifications, trade regulations, and concessions
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth operations
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and trade compliance updates

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Licensed Customs Broker with a solid understanding of Australian customs regulations
• Local experience within a Freight Forwarding & Customs Brokerage environment
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, customs authorities, and internal teams
• Tech-savvy & detail-oriented – Comfortable using brokerage systems like EDI Cargowise and maintaining accurate records
