Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and strategic PR & Government Relations Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, advocate for policy support, and enhance HelloCentre’s public presence. This role requires expertise in public affairs, compliance, and strategic communications to navigate regulatory landscapes, secure government backing, and ensure the healthy growth of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Government Relations & Policy Advocacy

Develop and maintain relationships with government stakeholders at local, state, and federal levels.

Lead discussions with government agencies to explore business collaboration opportunities and secure official endorsements.

Advocate for HelloCentre’s role in improving government-Australian communication and align our platform with public sector goals.

Monitor and anticipate policy changes, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Adjust business direction and product features in response to new regulations, ensuring alignment with government policies.

Public Relations & Strategic Communication

Craft compelling narratives to highlight HelloCentre’s social impact, innovation, and compliance efforts.

Develop communication strategies to enhance public trust and government confidence in our services.

Represent HelloCentre in public forums, industry events, and government meetings to strengthen brand credibility.

Collaborate with media outlets, industry associations, and advocacy groups to amplify HelloCentre’s mission.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure HelloCentre operates in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Proactively identify and mitigate regulatory risks to safeguard business continuity and public perception.

Guide internal teams on best practices for responsible and legally sound business operations.

Uphold HelloCentre’s social responsibility by addressing sensitive issues transparently and ethically.

Strategic Business Development & Government Backing

Secure government support and policy endorsements to drive user adoption and business expansion.

Work closely with legal and product teams to ensure our platform remains adaptable to regulatory shifts.

Leverage government collaborations to enhance HelloCentre’s credibility and long-term sustainability.

Provide forward-looking insights to shape business priorities and optimize services based on evolving government frameworks.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven background in public relations, government affairs, regulatory compliance, or policy advocacy. Prior experience in the tech, telecommunications, or public sector is a plus.

Strategic Communication: Strong ability to craft persuasive messaging and engage effectively with government officials, media, and stakeholders.

Policy & Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes affecting technology platforms and public services.

Relationship Building: Skilled at networking and maintaining high-level government and public-sector relationships.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to navigate complex challenges, adjust business strategies, and drive solutions.
