Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your expertise will contribute to the company’s ability to win and successfully deliver high-profile fit-out projects.

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for commercial fit-out projects.
• Review project documentation, including architectural drawings and specifications, to assess scope and pricing.
• Source, negotiate, and manage pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure estimates align with project execution.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks in project pricing.
• Lead tender submissions, ensuring all required documentation is completed and submitted on time.
• Maintain and update a database of pricing and supplier information for future projects.
• Engage in value engineering to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in contract negotiations and variations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating within the commercial fit-out sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and pricing structures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
