Processing Operator - Fixed Plant

Residential Role

Roster is 4:4 (2 DAYS/2 NIGHTS) 12 hr shifts.

About our client:

Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping of equipment.

Responding to product blockages.

Reporting any defects to the supervisor for maintenance inspections.

Temperature and condition-based monitoring of assets.

Ensuring the system is producing at its highest potential.

Regular monitoring and equipment care routes.

What you will need:

Previous mining experience within fixed plant operations.

Skills with loader operation, skid steer, ship loader operations, and crushing experience.

Strong understanding of fixed plant operations and maintenance.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
