Entry Level Design Engineer

Roadking Chassis are looking for an entry level engineering designer to join our team. Great workplace environment with on-the-job training and full-time employment.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs to prepare reports and presentations
• Ability to work autonomously, managing tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and responsive to business needs

About the Role

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using software such as [AutoCAD/SolidWorks/etc.].
• Update and modify existing designs to reflect changes in specifications or requirements.
• Follow established quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability in designs.
• Ensure all designs and drawings meet industry standards as well as company-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with clients to fully understand their design requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address queries and resolve any drafting or design-related issues.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve design processes and adopt new techniques or technologies to increase efficiency.
• Manage or contribute to project work both independently and within a team, ensuring successful completion from start to finish.
• Review and verify production schedules for accuracy and alignment with design specifications.
• Participate in regular team meetings and present progress updates to management
