Australian Staffing Agency, a boutique agency with over 25 years of experience, is dedicated to providing quality staffing solutions across various industries. We are currently partnering with a leader in the mail house industry to find skilled machine operators to join their team.

Our client is a well-established business specializing in direct mail production, offering services such as high-speed mail insertion, sorting, and document handling. They are looking for candidates who have experience in operating production machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality.

The roles are casual, with afternoon shift available, and flexibility is essential. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate high-speed mail insertion machines, including job setup and basic troubleshooting

Perform mail sorting and ensure accurate reconciliation and completion of paperwork

Conduct general maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in machine operation within a production or manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to troubleshoot and set up machinery

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Good time management, numeracy skills, and legible handwriting

Ability to stand for long periods

Full working rights in Australia

National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
