Makibe Australia has a rare opportunity to join our client with over 40 years in business specialising in warehouse racking systems as well storage solutions to every sector of the marketplace. The role is based in a modern showroom office attached to a state-of-the-art warehouse at Prestons.

Some of your varied duties may include:

• Assisting with customer sales and queries via email, phone call and in-branch
• General sales administration duties including basic quotes and liaising with salespeople.
• Arranging transport and distribution nationally
• Liaising with other branches to fulfil interstate orders
• Assisting in our showroom duties

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a history of industrial sales & customer service experience.
• Be well presented with a pleasant & professional phone manner
• Demonstrate excellent written skills with professional emails
• Attention to detail with a reasonable level of numeracy
• Have a positive attitude and be self-motivated without the need to be supervised
• Be able and willing to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Have a current driver’s license
• Have a right to work in Australia
• Be comfortable working within a diverse team and help out with work overflow as required.

Desirable qualities we would like to see in you:

• Experience with MYOB.
• Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Proven knowledge and experience of the racking and shelving industry is an advantage but not essential.
• A willingness to learn as our product range is diverse and ever-changing
• A true enthusiastic team player as we all work together.
