We have a proud 40-year track record operating in a suite of services including disability accommodation and support, mental health, homelessness, community housing, aged care, family and domestic violence, child family and community services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will be responsible for the supervision of a complex of 10 residential units providing
accommodation assistance for women at risk of homelessness. You will provide day to day support for residents and assist the Case Manager in facilitating access to community service, rental listings and support programs. You will conduct property inspections and perform general cleaning duties of the units.

This is a fixed term full time role to January 2026.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have well developed communication skills and the ability to be on-call to assist with emergency situations. Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred along with basic administrative skills.

Criteria:

• Qualification Community Services /Community Housing and/ or relevant experience
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Satisfactory Criminal record check.
• Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
• Demonstrates cultural competency including awareness, knowledge and empathy.
• Capacity to work with challenging behaviours and crisis situations.
• Flexibility to be on-call to assist with any emergency situations.
• Well-developed communication skills and ability to relate sensitively with women of diverse cultural, social, economic backgrounds.
• Record keeping and data entry skills.
• Understanding and experience of working with Aboriginal people and their communities.
• Experience with domestic and/or commercial cleaning.
