Position Overview
As a Specialist or Senior Specialist General Physician, you will provide consultant-level care to inpatients within our General Medical Units. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, support junior clinicians, and play a key role in safe and effective discharge planning in collaboration with community and ambulatory care services.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Up to $298,705

• Base Salary:
• Private Practice Allowance – Category B: Up to 50% of ordinary annual salary
• Professional Development Allowance: $22,251–$29,670 p.a. (pro-rata)
• Second Roster Allowance: $42,677 p.a. (pro-rata)
• Superannuation: 11.5%

Additional Entitlements

• Relocation assistance up to $20,000
• 12 weeks subsidised hospital accommodation
• 6 weeks annual leave per year

Eligibility Criteria

• AHPRA Specialist Registration is essential
• Must hold Fellowship with FRACP in General and Acute Care Medicine (or equivalent)
• No capacity for further peer review – applicants must be eligible for independent practice
• Senior role applicants must have at least 6 years of post-fellowship experience
