General Medicine Consultant | Exciting NT Opportunity

Are you a skilled General Medicine Consultant looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Northern Territory? We are seeking an experienced and passionate physician to join the General Medicine Department servicing approx. 100 in-patients per day, outpatient clinics anda remote outreach service.

About the Role:

• Fixed-term contract up to 5 years (negotiable)
• Full-time/part-time options available
• Work in a collaborative and culturally diverse healthcare environment

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $213,380 - $298,705
• Private Practice Allowance (Category B) - 50% of ordinary annual salary
• Professional Development Allowance: $22,251 - $29,670 per annum
• Second Roster Allowance: $42,677 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
• 11.5% Superannuation
• Up to $20,000 relocation support
• 12 weeks of subsidised hospital accommodation
• 6 weeks annual leave per year

Eligibility Requirements:

• AHPRA specialist registration with FRACP (General and Acute Care Medicine preferred, but other specialties considered)
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, management, and discharge planning
• Commitment to ongoing education, teaching, and quality improvement
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and communities
