ABOUT THE ROLE
- Full Time Ongoing
- $70,379 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation
- RDO available
- Located Leongatha
Our Corporate Information Management team is currently seeking a Corporate Information Management Officer to assist with supporting Council staff with day-to-day record management operations and activities.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Perform Corporate Information Management activities and tasks, including the scanning, registration and distribution of inwards correspondence to Council, outwards mail processing, and creation of electronic folders.
- Provide day to day functional support and operation of the Corporate Information Management Helpdesk portal and resolution of requests within defined SLA’s and KPI’s windows.
- Ensure the complete and accurate capturing of business activity records in accordance with approved policy and procedures for both hardcopy and electronic records.
- Listen and interpret user requests, and ability to show empathy and build rapport with users to ensure the provision of high-quality customer service.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will have:
- Previous experience, and/or Certificate level qualification in Information Management, and/or experience in a regulated administration services environment.
- Experience in the operation of information management services such as mail registration, folder classification, creation, maintenance, sentencing & disposal, storage and retrieval of files.
- Understanding of current information management practices and relevant legislation requirements for records and electronic document management.
- The ability to work as an effective member of a team to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
- The ability to treat confidential matters and discussions on Council business with the strictest confidence.
