Office Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and reliable full time Office Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of our busy Commercial Electrical Company located in Keilor Park.

With your previous experience in a similar role, you have a good understanding of just how broad an Office Manager role can be! The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate initiative and work independently as well as collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in this role is essential.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Management of all Office Administration - Phones, deliveries, calendar management, document preparation, updating and maintaining internal databases, uniform management, business insurances, vehicle management, tolls, petrol cards, stationery & kitchen orders.
  • Management of SimPro Administration - New employee setup, maintenance & reporting, purchase orders, resolving invoicing or scheduling issues & project close out reconciliation and management in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Management of Human Recourses Administration - New employee contracts, welcome packs, employee training & development, government incentive claims, employee inductions, probation period reviews, employee wellbeing, workplace safety, incident management
  • Management of Operational Project Administration - Project Setup & Onboarding, Site & Employee Inductions, Management of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) templates,
  • Payroll relief when required
  • Other tasks as required.

ABOUT YOU:

You will possess 5 years plus previous Office Management experience

Previous experience in the Construction Industry Highly Regarded

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation

Proactive work ethic with the capacity to work independently and part of a team

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and problem solve

Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Experience using Simpro an advantage but not required

Experience in Work Health and Safety an advantage but not required
