The Opportunity

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a suitably qualified Landscape Construction Leading Hand to join our team. To be successful you will need to be focused on delivering high quality outdoor spaces for our clients and have demonstrated experience in landscaping.

You will be responsible for running a small team to complete a range of projects within 45 minutes of Wollongong. A typical day will see you conducting Toolbox Talks, reading plans, setting out, ordering materials, managing the team to build retaining walls and decks, paving, concreting, planting, turfing, mulching and communicating with a range of stakeholders including Clients, Certifiers, Subcontractors and our Landscape Architect and Management Team.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Certificate III in Landscape Construction (trade qualified) - this is a must!
• Minimum 5 years experience in a landscaping role
• Experience managing a team of landscapers
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and designs
• Experience delivering high quality projects to clients
• Experience operating excavators/skid steers (desirable)
• Current drivers licence and white card
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Desire to work with a great team of people
