We are a dental practice that is limited to oral surgery. Our practice is limited to the removal of teeth (including surgical wisdom teeth), dental implants and All-On-4 implant bridges. We also do some oral pathology.

We provide surgery under local anaesthetic, IV sedation and general anesthetic.

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and quick learner who is well-presented and friendly.

The position would be ideal for anyone who is seeking a part-time position in the health industry and is willing to learn new skills. No experience in the dental field is necessary as all training will be provided.

The position commences in January 2025 and is currently 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). But there is an opportunity for significant increases in hours and pay for the ideal candidate.

We work with 2 dental nurses per surgeon. 1 dental nurse is responsible for assisting, and another is responsible for admin (i.e. taking notes and post-operative instructions). And the roles rotate every week.

Our dental nurses do a lot more than just assisting. The responsibilities of all of our nurses include:

• chairside assisting
• note taking
• sterilising
• answering phones when necessary
• preparing patients for surgery
• ordering, picking and organizing dental implant components
• pre and post-operative patient instructions
• designing implant surgical guides
• stock management

Our practice is very new (built in 2023) with modern facilities and modern technology. We are heavily focused on using digital technology for communications, surgical treatment planning, delivery of services and administration. The ideal candidate would have basic IT skills, good spelling/grammar and reasonable touch typing abilities.

We are a small but busy practice. We have a small but close-knit and excellent team that consists of 3 highly trained and motivated nurses, a lead receptionist and 2 dental surgeons. We are in need of another nurse to join our team.

We pay very well for highly trained and motivated team members.

The ideal candidate would be flexible with work hours, and be able to pick up extra shifts when other members are sick or on holiday.
