Role Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising digital marketing strategies to drive sign-ups, resource downloads, and overall engagement across our platforms. This role requires a data-driven mindset, creative thinking, and proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for creating marketing campaigns and marketing creative, ensuring adherence to the GGSA brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Must have experience with Google Analytics.

  • Reporting and Measurement:
  1. Automate the Marketing Report using Google Looker and/or PowerBI.
  2. Create and maintain a dashboard in Google Looker and/or PowerBI to demonstrate KPIs, such as resource download and use.
  3. Establish and monitor a conversion funnel for the sign-up process.
  4. Establish and monitor a baseline of cost per acquisition for sign-ups by user group and resource downloads/access by value stream (professional learning, curriculum, school improvement).
  • Attribution:
  1. Develop and implement a model to measure and report on the ROI of marketing expenditures.
  • Advertising:
  1. Set up, configure and optimise lookalike marketing campaigns.
  2. Set up, configure and optimise remarketing campaigns.
  3. Reconfigure the Google AdWords (SEM) platform to target key events and identify the effectiveness of keyword groups.
  4. Reconfigure the Meta (Facebook, Instagram) platform to target key events, and optimise overtime
  • Marketing and Creative:
  1. Generate and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including our website, Google Advertising and social media.
  2. Develop and produce marketing creative, ensuring all materials adhere to the GGSA brand guidelines and approval processes.
  3. Produce marketing messages and creative to increase downloads, views, and teacher engagement of the platform
  4. Obtain approval and execute test-and-learn campaigns.
  5. Lead the maintenance of our public-facing website, coordinating regular updates with our product development team
  6. Lead the development and implementation of product marketing campaigns, including facilitating handovers with product developers and overseeing multi-platform campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Proficiency in using Google Looker, PowerBI, Google AdWords, MailChimp, CRMs and Meta (Facebook) advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging marketing messages and creative concepts while following organisation procedures.
  • Ability to write creative briefs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with conversion funnel optimisation.
  • Familiarity with cost-per-acquisition metrics and reporting.
  • Background in setting up and managing lookalike and remarketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices.

Positions at GGSA are subject to the successful candidate being able to obtain a National Police check and a Working with Children card (Blue Card).
