Environmental Team Leader/Senior Associate - Contamination & Land Remediation

Location: Coorparoo, Brisbane

Salary: $160K - $180K + Benefits

My client are an Australian consultancy that specialises in geotechnical, environmental, and groundwater services. They are looking for a motivated individual to lead a performing environmental team in the field of contamination and land remediation. Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of environmental professionals.
• Deliver innovative environmental services across various projects (residential, healthcare, commercial, infrastructure).
• Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
• Lead proposal preparation and client communications to ensure quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with teams locally and across a national network of offices.

About You

• Significant experience in environmental consulting, with technical strength in environmental science/engineering and project management.
• Degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Engineering etc. (post-graduate qualification along with professional certifications such as Certified Environmental Practitioner a plus, not essential)
• MUST have experience within Contaminated Land.
• Proven leadership experience or strong leadership potential.
• Knowledge of Queensland environmental compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communicator with excellent client engagement and negotiation skills.
