We are seeking a Duty Manager to join our Administration Team at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre.

Embraced by one of the world's most beautiful locations, the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre is an enticing destination to introduce visitors to both the stunning natural beauty of the Daintree and the rich culture of the Kuku Yalanji people.

We are seeking a friendly and efficient person to oversee and manage the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre's daily operations to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction and service whilst contributing to effective operations.

Key Duties:

  • Assist across any area of Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre within operations to achieve overall objectives for the various teams.
  • Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for the day’s operation.
  • Control the Shuttle Bus Operations in peak times - directing drivers and ensuring that the Tour Groups leave and return on time as per the daily manifest.
  • Support, development and retainment of Indigenous employees and trainees to achieve Indigenous employment goals.

You will have:

  • Experience in the tourism and hospitality operations.
  • Knowledge of current food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Certificate IV Hospitality or appropriate industry experience.
  • Experience in logistics.
