The Seacliff Surf Lifesaving Club is under new management and looking for a dynamic team player to join us for an immediate start.

As a Duty Manager, you will at the forefront of our food and beverage operation, ensuring that every guest receives incredible customer service and a memorable experience. You will be required to manage daily operations, lead our team, and play a key role in maintaining and building our reputation for quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance across all areas.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and feedback with professionalism and care.
• Assist with stock control and stock management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist with staff training, rostering and performance evaluations.
• Assist with special events and private functions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high pressure situations.
• Proficient with point of sale, reservation systems and basic computer operations.
• Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Relevant certificates including a National Police Clearance and Work with Children. Please note that NPC and WWC certificates are a mandatory requirement to work at The Seacliff SLSC.
