• Demonstrated experience in leading a growing organisation.
• Proven track record of providing person centered approach care promoting choice and control whilst empowering participants to pursue their goals and interest.
• A strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
• Understanding the inherent requirement of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and the NDIA with the experience and ability to maintain up to date knowledge.
• A strong commitment to compliance, policy development and proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• A distinct level of understanding of the portal, NDIS pricing structures and service offerings.
• Demonstrated skills and motivation at business development and service innovation.
• Capacity to maintain monthly management team meetings and reporting in line with organisational values and goals.
• Passionate about supporting professional development and providing the necessary workforce training to maintain and improve a positive working environment.
• Skills and experience in workforce recruitment and induction.
• Knowledge in maintaining and improving organisational quality management tool.
• An extensive understanding of service provision and related systems for people with psychosocial and other disabilities.
• A distinct understanding of least restrictive practices, policies and compliance.
• Experience in attending multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Thorough understanding with supporting experience in delivering person centred approach care to 0-6 years.
• Demonstrated extensive experience at a management level.
• Confident in resolving conflicts or crises as they arise is a timely, professional manner.
• Superior level of communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strategic working relationships with all key stakeholders to achieve excellent results for both our participants and business.
• Demonstrated experience in building networks and referrals.
• Proven knowledge and experience in delivering a participant centered approach
• Understanding of the unique needs of people with disabilities, their caregivers, support services and their individual goals.
• Ability to navigate NDIS systems proactively ensuring participant needs are met.
• Strong team work ethic and promoting positive experiences in the work environment.
• Clinical background in governance is preferred.
