The Firm is a respected Brisbane CBD-based accounting practice with strong ties in public accounting. Known for their unmatched support and investment in staff upskilling, they're expanding their business services & taxation team and looking for a talented Intermediate Accountant.

The Role

As an Intermediate Accountant, you’ll:

• Prepare financial statements & tax returns for various entities (excluding SMSFs).
• Liaise with the ATO.
• Handle BAS and IAS preparation.
• Communicate regularly with clients across different industries.
• Collaborate with other team members.

What We’re Looking For

To be a great fit, you should have:

• 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• Aspiration to start or have already commenced CA/CPA.
• Previously prepared financial statements and tax returns (no SMSF experience needed).
• Knowledge on Division 7A and CGT. (FBT experience is also an advantage).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently & in a team.
