As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our administration team.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Payroll Officer to manage and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 100 employees. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a thorough understanding of payroll systems, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payrolls for all employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll taxes, deductions, and benefits
• Manage payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime
• Ensure accurate reporting of payroll data and produce relevant reports
• Keep abreast of any changes in tax laws or employment regulations related to payroll
• Coordinate with Accounts department
• Internal rental processing for staff
• Monitoring and setting up inductions and keeping track of reviews
• Perform other duties such as reception, data entry and other admin tasks as required
• Workcover – claims and payments

Qualifications:

• Recognised qualifications an advantage
• Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of MYOB AccountRight
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication, strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
