Role Description

We are seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) to join our dynamic team on a large-scale multi-residential project on the Gold Coast. This role offers the opportunity to work on flagship projects and be part of a close-knit team that values quality and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the business in all health, safety, and environmental matters.
• Assist site teams in setting up, implementing, and reviewing HSE management systems and procedures.
• Monitor compliance and provide guidance to ensure all activities meet legal and company HSE requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and collaborate with regulatory inspectors as needed.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, evacuation drills, and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Champion a safety-focused culture that minimises risk and supports productivity.
• Identify HSE risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Support quality management by ensuring project work aligns with company Quality Policies and Procedures.
• Coach and mentor employees and subcontractors to proactively engage with HSE practices.

Requirements

• Must have multi res construction experience.
• QBCC Site Supervisor Licence.
• Stability and good references with previous employers.
• A strong solutions-focussed approach.
• White Card.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
