Senior Neurological Occupational Therapist
Advance Rehab Centre
Posted 26 days ago
If you are an occupational therapist with a passion for neurology and want to work flexibly with a dynamic, rewarding and supportive team, we would love to hear from you!
About the opportunity:
Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, part-time or contractor Senior Neurological Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. We are a team of experienced multidisciplinary clinicians, working in an award-winning outpatient clinic and community-based rehab service covering most of Metro Sydney.
We have three state-of-the-art clinics based conveniently in Artarmon and Hurstville, all with fully equipped rehab gyms, upper limb and cognitive therapy rehab suites.
We will happily discuss all possible working arrangements for the successful candidate such as considering the opportunity to be a clinic-only role or split between the community and clinic or working solely in the community.
If working solely in the community, you can choose to be based from your home, rather than the clinics, meaning less time commuting. In addition, you can flex your hours, meaning later starts or earlier finishes if this works for your life.
Why join us?
Over the last 19 years, we have built a reputation as one of the most progressive neurological rehabilitation services in Australia - winning the Australian Allied Health Adult Practice Excellence Award in 2019 and the Allied Health Team Culture Excellence Award in 2021. Our rehabilitation clinics are located in Artarmon and Hurstville.
We manage clients with stroke/ABI, MS, PD, MND, spinal cord injury and other progressive conditions both acute/early in diagnosis and chronic stages. Our clients are a mix of NDIS participants, private and compensable.
- Dynamic Opportunity - Ideal environment to further develop your skills as a community occupational therapist through a challenging and interesting neuro caseload with excellent support.
- Excellent Team Culture - We are a growing team that is family owned and operated and have kept our close-knit, supportive team culture. We support wellbeing at work and have an EAP Assist program and Employee Recognition Program.
- Skilled Management - Our management and leadership teams all come from skilled, therapy backgrounds - they are very hands-on and always available on site for both informal and informal support.
- Professional Development Focused - Outstanding CPD program and ongoing support for your own development and learning, including weekly neuro education; weekly MDT team meeting; formal induction process; ongoing clinical supervision; access to ARCademy with external guest speakers; support with leadership and career progression; and external courses hosted onsite.
- Career Growth - Opportunities for future supervisor and leadership positions
- Multidisciplinary Team - Excellent holistic client care provided between professions, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Allied Health Assistants, Neuromuscular Orthotics, Psychology and Speech Pathology.
- Attractive Salary Package and Perks - including car allowance, smart phone, laptop, generous CPD budget, additional super contributions, bonus rewards, and free gym access for your own fitness, with (optional) weekly team workouts. Salary, casual and contractor positions all considered.
