We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director (2IC) & Educational Leader to lead our brand-new, 83-place service in Rochedale, set to open in June 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and grow a centre from the ground up!

About the role:

• Provide guidance and direction to educators through collaboration
• Offer support to educators to effectively implement the planning cycle to enhance practices and programs
• Lead, develop and implement effective and valuable educational programs within the service
• Ensure all learning is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework
• Encourage and demonstrate appropriate and respectful communication and behaviours within the service

About you:

• An ACECQA-approved Teaching Degree (preferred) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience in a similar role advantageous
• Current Working with Children Check
• Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
• Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Strong computer skills
• Current approved First Aid Certificate
• Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
