Position Summary
As a Management Accountant in the construction industry, you will play a key role in project cost control, financial planning, and strategic decision-making, ensuring the financial health and compliance of our complex projects. You will provide actionable financial insights tailored to the construction sector to drive project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project budgets, cost management systems, and financial reports in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze cash flow, risk assessments, and ROI for capital investments to support management decisions.
• Manage financial models related to carbon pricing and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain and optimize internal financial controls to enhance cost efficiency in construction projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement cost-performance analysis and quality improvement strategies.
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance while optimizing tax strategies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of construction project costing, contract management, and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic planning abilities.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (essential).
• Experience: 3+ years in management accounting, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
