Gema Aviation is currently looking for someone who is passionate about Hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
The position will report to the lounge manager and will work between approx. 15 - 20 hours per week, this could include weekends.
Gema Aviation is part of the Gema Group company and we are a specialist hospitality business catering to various venues, large retail and corporate events as well as corporate functions all over Australia.
The role:
Work across all aspects of the food and beverage service on the Back of Clock (BOC) shift. This shift starts from 10pm until 3am.
Hands on duties include: buffet duties, basic food preparation, lounge cleaning, clearing tables and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Provide first class customer service and maintain the high standards of the lounge throughout the night.
The roster is currently 15 - 20 hours per week with the potential for additional hours due to flight delays.
Days and hours may occasionally change to meet any operational or flight schedule changes. The successful applicant must be flexible to work across various days and hours of the airport operation.
Qualifications:
For this role you will be committed to being a team player and building a great rapport with those around you.
Sound knowledge of food safety legislation
Current RSA certificate
Minimum 2 years experience as a food and beverage attendant
Must be eligible to obtain an ASIC clearance (airport security identification card) and police clearance
Must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
Exceptional grooming and presentation
Exceptional customer service skills
Must be able to work well under pressure and multi task as well as prioritise duties
Job Types: Casual
Pay: $21.86 – $43.72 per hour (pending your age)
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
