Madame Za Restaurant is looking for flexible and seasoned food and beverage staff to join the fast-paced energetic team.

Located in Rydges Palmerston, Madame Za is offering an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a winning personality and a 'can do' attitude.

This casual position allows you to combine your passion for hospitality with your great customer service skills. It will be 5 days a week including weekend shifts. Must hold current RSA certification.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Delivering timely, friendly and professional table and bar service and anticipating guests needs

Establishing rapport with guests

Demonstrating sound knowledge of all food and beverage menu items

Working cohesively as part of a close knit team

Efficiently clearing & resetting tables to ensure prompt turnaround

Adhering to staff grooming standards

Skills and experience

Minimum of two years experience in a busy a la carte restaurant providing full table service

Above average beer and wine knowledge

Cocktail and coffee experience will be highly regarded

Experience in functions service preferred

The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends

Outgoing & vibrant personality and confident, customer-focused attitude a must.

Ability to carry three or more plates
