About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Hariomnamo Pty Ltd in Medowie, NSW. This is a part-time position that will see you playing a crucial role in providing high-quality customer service and administrative support to our medical practice. Your warm and friendly demeanour will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive a positive experience from the moment they enter our doors.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including follow-ups and reminders
• Handling patient inquiries and directing them to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
• Assisting with the processing of payments
• Providing general administrative support, such as filing, faxing, and photocopying

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service-oriented role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and electronic medical record systems
• A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
