About the Role
Working under the general direction of the Office Manager and closely with other administrative staff across ARIIA, the Administration and Projects Coordinator, will provide a range of administrative support for ARIIA services, including the coordination and preparation of project tenders and closely monitoring requirements and deadlines. This role also includes stakeholder engagement, facilitation of communication with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and providing a contribution to the smooth operation of ARIIA initiatives.

This role is also responsible for:

  • Provide support to the CEO, COO and Program and Research Director as required.
  • Provide timely and efficient communication as a first contact point for internal and external queries.
  • Provide support for a range of marketing activities, networking functions, and other events.
  • Contribute to providing financial administration, including account reporting and arranging for invoicing and reconciliations.

Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA)
Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) will transform the way we care for Older Australians. Funded by the Australian Government and the Department of Health, the Centre will deliver activities across three workstreams to improve aged care for all Australians. With your proven ability to exercise initiative and to work autonomously when required, highlights your project coordination skills and demonstrated ability to prepare tenders and budgets.

Your well‐developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills enable you to work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, while not only prioritising work and meeting deadlines but also maintaining attention to detail.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training.
  • A sound knowledge of contemporary administrative systems, software and practices, and an ability to interpret and apply a range of relevant policies and procedures within a large and complex organisation.
  • Significant demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to, the requirements of confidentiality within a professional work team.
