About Us
We are a medium sized Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that delivers an holistic range of support services to people living in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Through service centres located in Broome, Derby, and Kununurra, our focus is on supporting people in the areas of housing and homelessness, family support services , reintegration services and accommodation and emergency relief services. Each year we engage with over 3000 people through a local staff group, who represent many of the language groups connected to country, right across the Kimberley region.

About the Opportunity
We are now looking for a full-time Program Coordinator based in Broome, Western Australia.
Working with the Reintegration Team Leader and Transitional Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of reintegration support programs and services, ensuring they meet contracted service objectives and outcomes.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating and monitoring reintegration support programs in alignment with service agreements
- Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement innovative service delivery models
- Supporting case management and ensuring accurate data entry aligned with service specifications
- Mentoring and guiding staff in delivering reintegration support services and group workshops
- Evaluating and reporting on program delivery and performance outcomes
- Coordinating resources, program materials, and ensuring cultural appropriateness of services
- Facilitating relationships with stakeholders, government agencies, and Aboriginal organisations
- Representing Centacare Kimberley at community forums and promoting its services
- Ensuring compliance with Centacare Kimberley’s policies, procedures, and service agreements
- Managing transportation and logistics for individuals being released from correctional facilities
- Maintaining a positive team environment and fostering professional development among staff
About You
To qualify, you will need the ability to secure Security Clearance through the Department of Justice and a minimum of 4-5 years experience in program coordination. Experience in coordinating support services targeting vulnerable and at-risk groups will also be essential.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Tertiary qualification in a Human Services field of study
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience in group facilitation and training
- Experience within an Aboriginal or remote community
- Knowledge of adult learning techniques
- Demonstrated understanding of case management principles and cultural issues
