We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Site Supervisor on a subcontract basis for our upmarket residential projects, new builds, multi-units, renovations, and extensions.

• Immediate start

• Based across metropolitan Melbourne with some regional travel possible.

The role

Reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Coordinating trades, labour & material
• Monitoring progress of sites
• Attending relevant site meetings on behalf of AUSTCONSTRUCT
• Reporting daily outcomes to the Site Manager

The ideal candidate will have

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate and coordinate trades and suppliers.
• Previous exposure to the construction industry
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn
• High attention to detail and the ability to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality.
• Ability to work to programs and plans.
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations and protocols.
• Computer and phone skills
• Onsite health and safety
• White Card
• Valid driver's licence
• Own vehicle
