We’re looking for a Comms & Social Media officer to join the YOKAI-Healing our spirit team to assist us in supporting & amplifying Stolen Generations people voices on a three-month contract with the high possibility of extension . This role is responsible for developing and delivering communication and marketing strategies across the corporation but more specially the transition of the Sister Kate’s Site to a place of Truth, Justice & healing.

Reporting to our Community Engagement Manager, you'll work closely with our Team, CEO & Board to deliver on our social media goals and objectives.

Activities include:

· Hit the ground running, take action.

· Plan, shoot & edit scroll-stopping content

· Schedule all our social media posts

· Manage our community engagement & responses on social media

· Collaborate with our members, stakeholders & survivors.

· Track & report on what’s working (and what’s not) because data = power

· Travel to locations, sites and events as required to capture content

· Plan & manage campaign shoots

· Planning and execution of content.

· Provide input on campaign briefs from an organic socials POV

· Ongoing market research.

· Assist with reporting to the business on the social media function

· Other duties as assigned by manager.
