ABOUT US

CoCreate Solutions are a leading specialist metalwork subcontractor in South Australia. We design, manufacture, and install high-quality metalwork solutions, servicing a broad range of industries including construction, mining, civil and marine infrastructure. We are an ISO Certified organisation, designing, manufacturing, and installing a broad range of metalwork solutions from our Lonsdale factory.

Due to continued growth in the company, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.

THE ROLE

As an Estimator at CoCreate Solutions you will be responsible for preparing tenders, estimating project costs, and managing the bidding process. Reporting directly to the Company Director, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Draftspersons and Suppliers to drive successful outcomes for project opportunities from start to finish.

This role is an opportunity to apply existing theoretical and practical skills to a diverse range of medium to large scale projects.

With an exciting pipeline of projects already awaiting, you will be joining a friendly team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pursuing, negotiating, and securing projects in order to reach company objectives,
• Competently drafting, proofing, auditing, and delivering highly detailed quotation documents for submission,
• Analysing specifications, materials and labour costs to provide precise costings,
• Ensuring seamless transition from estimate to contract award, tracking costs throughout
• Conducting pre-tender site visits to assess project requirements and to identify potential challenges,
• Developing positive relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers, and fostering new ones,
• Working on multiple company bids simultaneously and delivering in accordance with deadline objectives, and
• Assisting managers and directors in business development and expansion opportunities.

In this role, you will be involved in critical decisions that directly impact CoCreate’s business success. You will have the opportunity to expand your current expertise, gain industry recognition and contribute to a company that values innovation and excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• An understanding of the construction process in terms of project financial and job cost accounting knowledge,
• 3+ years' experience in an estimating role within the construction industry,
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities,
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software,
• Existing network and previous selling experience into the South Australian building and construction sector (highly desired),
• Ability to prioritise, work on multiple tenders, and meet tight deadlines,
• Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen,
• A passion to build a career in estimating (essential), and
• Current driver’s licence.

Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
