At Spot Therapy Hub, we're not just a clinic – we're a community of passionate, like-minded therapists committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of neurodivergent children and their families. If you're a Senior Occupational Therapist with experience in paediatrics and supervision, and you're looking for a workplace where you can grow, thrive, and truly make an impact, we’d love to meet you!

Why Spot Therapy Hub?
Spot is a unique and innovative place to work, where we place equal importance on both our clients' goals and our therapists’ professional growth and well-being. We’re proud to be a Neurodiversity Affirming service, embracing diversity in all its forms. Our approach is centred on collaboration, respect, and empowerment, and we want you to feel this every day you work with us.

What Makes Spot Special?

  • Supportive Mentorship: Director Kate, a fellow OT and Speechie, is dedicated to mentoring staff and helping you thrive. Even for our experienced therapists, you’ll receive tailored professional development, ongoing feedback, and support.
  • A Team of Therapists Who Understand: Our managers, Lorna and Louise, are both qualified therapists too. This means we’re not just colleagues – we’re a team that understands the challenges and rewards of clinical work, and we work together to ensure both client and staff satisfaction.
  • Growing Together: We’re a team that’s always evolving. At Spot, you’re encouraged to develop your own practice, explore your interests, and build long-term relationships with our clients and your peers.
  • Work-Life Balance: We believe in a healthy work-life balance. Full-time positions allow us to provide you with more structured mentoring and career development, while also giving you the time you need for self-care.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a passionate, experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic about working with neurodivergent children and their families. If you’re someone who values meaningful, strength-based therapeutic approaches, and is eager to join a diverse, supportive, and dynamic team, then we want to hear from you.

You must show experience of mentoring and supporting OT's, and ready to undertake a supervisory role alongside clinical work, plus initial consultations and the writing and reviewing of reports for NDIS or other.

About the Role

  • Paediatric Focused Caseload: You’ll work with a diverse range of neurodivergent clients, including autistic children, children with ADHD, and other developmental differences. Many of our clients are seeking therapy that is affirming and respectful of their identity, and we are committed to delivering that.
  • Airway Focused Practice: Our care is informed by the understanding that airway health, breathing, and sleep have a profound impact on a child’s development, learning, and well-being. You'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in this area, integrating airway health into your therapeutic practice.
  • Collaborative Team: You’ll be part of a team that values open communication and collaborative decision-making. We work together to ensure that your caseload aligns with your interests and strengths, while also offering opportunities to expand your expertise.
  • Supervision: Opportunities to have less client facing time, and more time spent overseeing care, upskilling and nurturing clinicians to unlock their own potential. Access to 1:1 weekly supervision with our CEO in addition to this.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary packages above award rates
  • Paid leave, superannuation, and travel allowances
  • Ongoing professional development and mentoring, tailored to your needs
  • A dynamic, inclusive, and supportive team culture
  • A chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of neurodivergent children and their families
